1ST - 15TH DECEMBER 2011 - MALAYSIA ART BOOK FAIR 2011

The first ever Malaysia Art Book Fair 2011 will take place at the National Visual Arts Gallery on the 1st until the 15th of December 2011, presenting a selection of local and international art publications. The fair aims to bring a broader understanding and awareness of the arts, showcasing new developments and emerging practices in the art scene through a selection of publications as well as activities.

This must attend annual event is open to art and literary enthusiasts, and the entire family looking for some weekend fun. There will exciting activities and performances by artists, competitions and attractive prizes, book launches and book signings from your beloved authors. This 15-day fair will also feature conferences and talks hosted by local authors and artists.

To further fulfill your visit, you will also get a chance to explore the artworks and exhibitions at the Gallery which will be open throughout the fair.

Entrance to the Malaysia Art Book Fair 2011 and the  National Visual Arts Gallery  is always free and open to the public.
